Lodging & Accommodations

Mt. Gilead offers three tiers of lodging to fit every group size and budget, for a comfortably combined capacity of 325+ guests across our cabins and lodges. From our rustic Economy cabins nestled in the redwoods to our climate-controlled Standard and Deluxe lodges, every option includes the essentials your group needs for a comfortable, focused retreat. Please note that all rooms are furnished with bunk beds.

Please bring your own bedding, sleeping bags, and towels. Linens and towels are not provided. Please make sure every member of your group knows to pack them before they arrive.

We are also excited to share that we are currently updating all of our cabins, and can now offer the option of renting up to 12 newly remodeled cabins or up to twenty-one more rustic cabins for your group’s stay.

Economy

Each of our 31 Cabins have four bunk beds and one double bed with mattresses on all. These rustic cabins have electrical outlets and can be heated during the cooler months. Portable restrooms are located throughout the cabin areas and bathroom facilities are close by. The two cabin areas are fenced in and divided by our main road.

Standard

Fir Lodge has eight carpet rooms and four bunk beds per room and is our largest sleeping accommodation. It is equipped with automatic heating and air conditioning and is divided by a central hall. There are two shared restrooms, one per side plus access to additional private bathrooms and showers. Fir Lodge is wheelchair accessible.

Deluxe

Redwood and Pepperwood Lodges are identical in layout with the exception of a “speaker room” in Pepperwood which is furnished with a double bed and small area to relax. All of the other rooms have two bunk beds and a sink with a mirror.  One bunk bed in most rooms have a double bed on bottom. There are four private showers and restrooms in each lodge.
