Meeting Spaces

Mt. Gilead has several unique spaces that provide you and your group with meeting areas for all of your needs.

A spacious lounge with blue-cushioned wooden sofas and chairs, wooden tables, a stack of firewood, a fireplace, and wood-patterned flooring. A pillow with WELCOME sits on one sofa. Large windows are in the background.

Fireside

A large fireplace and couches make this the coziest place at camp. This room can be divided with a large sound-dampening pocket door to provide you with two separate meeting areas in one convenient location.

Capacity: 75

Main Chapel

This is our largest indoor meeting area. The Main Chapel has stadium-style seating and the glass back wall can be removed for additional outside seating. It is set up with laptop hookups, DVD player, and straight to CD audio recording. You are welcome to use our mics or bring your own equipment.

Fox Den

The Fox Den is our newest meeting room here at Mt. Gilead. It is beautifully decorated and equipped with a small stage and podium as well as sound equipment and projector.

Capacity: 70

Event Tent

This massive outdoor tent is perfect for rainy day games or escaping the heat of the summer. With over 3,000 square feet of trex decking it can be outfitted with audio/visual equipment.

Capacity: 300+

Victory Circle

Victory Circle: Great for late night camp fires this large outdoor amphitheater has a fire pit at it’s center and an outdoor P.A. system.

Capacity: 300

Prayer Chapel

Great for leadership meetings or round table discussions, the Prayer Chapel provides an intimate setting. Nestled in the redwood grove, it is furnished with 2 couches and additional cushioned chairs.

Capacity: 25

Gilead’s Pavilion

If you are looking for a large venue in the redwoods that provides protection from the sun or rain, Gilead’s Pavilion is your answer. Located in the valley floor it is centrally located. The Pavilion also has outdoor lighting for special evening events along with an outdoor sound system available.

Capacity: 450+

Rec Canyon Canopy

Off the beaten path the Rec Canyon Tent is nestled between the Girl’s Cabin Area and Fir Lodge. This venue provides a soft shell tent to provide ample shade or rain protection depending on the time of year, as well as string lighting for nighttime events.

Capacity: 150+

Pool

The Mt. Gilead Swimming Pool and surrounding area is a favorite location for baptisms and church picnics. Canopies and chairs can be requested to provide your church members comfort and shelter from the sun as they enjoy the baptisms of their friends and family.

Outdoor Dining Deck

Soak in the redwood trees and sunshine while you fellowship around the table with friends and family on the dining hall deck. Truly, the great outdoors lends itself to quieter dining with beautiful views!

Capacity: 350+

Inspiration Point

For a unique meeting experience and for those looking to immerse themselves in nature, enjoy a 20 minute hike up the mountain to Inspiration Point for a breathtaking view of the Santa Rosa Valley.

Capacity: 350+

Gazebo

Located in the central part of camp, the gazebo provides an intimate outdoor space for conversation, worship or prayer.
