38.5 acres adjacent to Mt. Gilead — an unexpected blessing with endless possibilities
The Lord provided the opportunity for us to purchase 38.5 acres of property adjacent to Mt. Gilead.
This new property represents opportunities for expanded ministries as well as providing additional security to our current facility. We stand in awe of all God did to bring about this purchase.
As we move forward in this adventure with the Lord, we need you, our friends, to partner with us in prayer for continued provision as we pay back the loan of $3,275,000. There were several bidders with deeper pockets who were willing to bid higher, but the Lord brought us favor in the eyes of our neighbor and we were chosen. Glory to God.
The property provides us new options that were not possible before, such as:
- Serving smaller groups in an intimate setting — marriage conferences, counseling groups, leadership training, board retreats, and team-building retreats
- Serving two groups at the same time without disturbing one another
- Providing premium housing for guests who are unable to navigate the bunk beds at our main campus
- Lastly, but very importantly, these 38.5 acres increase our ability to better control the security of Mt. Gilead
