Mt. Gilead is a Christ-centered Bible camp nestled in the Northern California redwoods, and we’re looking for staff who are passionate about sharing the gospel, growing in their own faith, and investing in the lives of young people. Whether you’re leading a cabin, running a zip line, or keeping the kitchen humming, there’s a place for you here and a summer that will stay with you long after you leave.
The Mt. Gilead Team
Mt. Gilead Bible Camp & Conference Center is supported by a dedicated full-time staff team covering all major areas of camp operations. Leadership includes an Executive Director with decades of Christian camping ministry experience. Supporting staff handle program management, guest services, food service, facilities and maintenance, health supervision, marketing, finance, administration, social media, and capital projects. Together, the team serves campers, retreat groups, and the broader Mt. Gilead community throughout the year. Mt. Gilead is located in Sebastopol, California, in the Northern California redwoods.
Dave Gould, Executive Director
Dave grew up in Davis, CA, and graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Christian Education. While at S.P.U. he met and married fellow student Dawn Miller in 1985. Prior to coming to Mt. Gilead, Dave worked on staff at SAMBICA Camp in Bellevue, Washington, and at Redwood Christian Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Kids for the Kingdom and Pleasant Hill Christian School.
Dave and Dawn have three children, two daughter in-laws, a son in-law and two grandchildren. Dave loves hiking, kayaking and woodworking.
