Kids Camp 1st-3rd Grade

At Kids Camp we provide our youngest campers (1st-3rd grade) with an exciting and fun program that gives them their first overnight camping experience

Your camper will be able to try some of our most popular recreational elements including: climbing wall, slip n slide, swimming pool, and archery.  As always, Kids Camp features tasty, kid-friendly food, silly games, fun crafts, unforgettable songs and exciting, interactive Bible Stories that are geared for younger campers.

For campers’ convenience, Gift Cards may be purchased during registration for use at Gilead’s Gift Store and Snack Shack. Campers may also bring cash or credit cards, which can be used at all locations—the Gift Store, Snack Shack, and vending machines. Gift cards cannot be used on vending machines.

Gift cards are non‑refundable but never expire. They may be purchased during registration or at any time during your camper’s stay by calling the camp office. We recommend taking a photo of the gift card when it is purchased. The QR code on the card can be scanned at any time to check the remaining balance, and additional funds may be added before or during your camper’s session by contacting the camp office.

If a Gift Card is lost, we can transfer the remaining balance to a new card as long as the original card number is available. Having a photo of the card makes this process quick and easy.

All medications (including vitamins, over the counter medications, etc.) MUST be presented to the camp nurse in the original containers.

Our nurses will be unable to give your child’s medications, vitamins or supplements without the original container. This is mandated by the Sonoma County Public Health Department.

DROP OFF: We will have staggered check in times beginning at 4:00pm based on your camper’s last name. Information on your time-slot will be sent out via email about a week prior to registration day.

Check in will be in our central camp (near the chapel).

PICK UP: Doors open for Friday closing chapel at 10:45am

Acceptable attire will be determined at our leaders’ discretion. Your camper may be asked to change if the length or cut is not deemed appropriate. If you have any questions regarding our dress code, please call our office.

Tops

  • Tops must cover the midriff.
  • No low cut tops or low cut armholes.
  • No strapless tops.
  • Sheer tops should not be worn without a dress code appropriate shirt underneath.
  • Shirts are required except in the pool, shower, inside cabins, and other activities if specified by camp leadership.
  • Appropriate undergarments should be worn and completely covered by clothing when campers are not in their swimsuit.

Bottoms

  • Shorts must be long enough to remain appropriately covered during participation in camp activities.
  • Avoid “sagging,” low-waisted pants, torn jeans or shorts that may expose undergarments.

Swimwear

  • One-piece swimsuits or tankinis that cover the majority of the midriff.
  • No speedo-cut or bikini-cut swimsuit bottoms. Shorts or short-type bottoms must be worn.

Campers may purchase items using GIFT CARDS bought at check-in on Sunday. Gift Cards will help expedite our service to your camper with shorter lines in the Gift Store.

Your camper can make purchases at both locations with cash, debit or credit cards as well. Parents will be able to check their camper’s gift card balance throughout the week by taking a picture of the gift card on Sunday and using the QR code whenever they would like to check their current balance.

We work closely with parents and campers to accommodate food allergies and dietary needs. Please be sure to note any dietary restrictions in your camper’s Campwise account under the Medical & Liability Release Form so we can plan accordingly and have adequate quantities of specialty food items on hand for your child.

While gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available at every meal and clearly labeled, we are unable to fully accommodate campers with Celiac disease. Our kitchen handles gluten-containing ingredients, and we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. However, we do provide a dedicated fridge in the dining hall specifically for Celiac campers who need to bring their own food.
